Sneak peak : Symbian^3 PR 2.0

This is another sneak peak of PR 2.0, which will be the big update coming from Nokia featuring more then 50 updates.


My Observations

1. New Icons : New icons which were seen in a sneak peak from Nokia slides this past week, seems to be an update in PR 2.0, every icon from camera to mail has been changed to adapt the new style, which seems to be a very decent one, i like it, i like the new icons  but thats my personally.
2. Mail : There are some minor changes in the mail application from Nokia the changes are very minor for example the mark box has been shifted from right to left, smaller fonts on some places, but a bit more stable performance, and there is still 1-2 left till the update appears so till then i expect mail application to be improved furthermore
3. Browser : New browser has been discussed many times, but personally i am a bit disappointed from the new browser from Nokia, as in video you can see that the performance has not been improved drastically, as when tried to kinetic scroll it was not responded well by the device, but still its not the final software, but there are some new tabbing features which are better and much better implemented then in Nokia devices before, the transitions were  sluggish due to it still not being the final PR 2.0 when it will be final the transitions will be faster.
4. New portrait Qwerty and split input : While the split input seems to be well implemented i was very disappointed with the portrait qwerty, due to Nokia choosing screen ratio 16:9 the qwerty keyboard has suffered as you can all see in the video. its far worse then what android ,WP7 and IOS has to offer.

Still its not the final software, so we will see what improvements Nokia has to offer in the final software.
