Yes My friends, Xperia X10 will get Android 2.3

However, I am happy to inform you that this has changed. We plan to bring an upgrade to Android Gingerbread for the XperiaTM X10 to generic trade kits end Q2 / early Q3 this year. We have heard your requests all along but until today have not been able to confirm this. The great work on our 2011 products XperiaTM PLAY, XperiaTM arc and XperiaTM neo actually has enabled us to start the work in a special project bringing Gingerbread to the XperiaTM X10.

The update will update The Sony Ericsson x10  To Android 2.3, this came as a surprise to me and many others and is a very good news for all the Sony Ericsson x10 owners, After Sony Ericsson Said that Android 2.1 is final update for x10 many were disappointed, But Now It will get Gingerbread Love, However the update is just for x10 not for x8 or x10 mini.

Nokia may Not use windows For its tablets?

Many Rumors are coming, In which They state that Nokia may not use Windows 7 for its Tablets and instead Use Meego, And i can see it coming true, as the Meego on tablets the previews we saw were very innovative and Intuitive, And windows 7,Everybody knows the problem of it, Not really touch friendly and Not compatible with ARM processors, So i think it will not be a surprise at all if nokia use meego as their operating system for its tablets market, I hope That meego for tablet is Ready for mass use very soon, as in the previews we saw, At least i found it very innovative.

Facebook Acquiring Snaptu

Facebook is set to acquire mobile apps company Snaptu, it has emerged.

Snaptu specialises in enabling the development of apps for low-cost feature phones. On the Snaptu blog today, the company writes: “Earlier this year, we announced the launch of a new Facebook mobile application to give people a great mobile experience on a broad range of feature phones. The Facebook for Feature Phones app currently works on more than 2,500 devices.
“We soon decided that working as part of the Facebook team offered the best opportunity to keep accelerating the pace of our product development. And joining Facebook means we can make an even bigger impact on the world.”
Today’s news was first reported by Israeli newspapers and TechCrunch pegs the value of the acquisition at around $60-70 million. Snaptu is based in London, with offices in Tel Aviv and Silicon Valley.
As Facebook looks to expand its user base ever further, being accessible on the low-cost featurephones available in developing markets is incredibly important. The Snaptu deal should aid this. Snaptu writes on its blog: “We’ll be working hard to offer a richer and more advanced Facebook app on virtually every mobile phone.”

ZTE Will Produce Windows Phone 7 Devices When Demand Is Appealing

earlier today where Wu Sa, Director of mobile device operations for ZTE UK, provided some insight on ZTE developing for Windows Phone 7. Wu Sa was straight forward and clarified that there should be no doubt about ZTE producing for Windows Phone 7, but that production will come when demand for WP7 is good.

“Our platform strategy is not driven by particular technological development; it’s purely driven by market demand so we cherry-pick technology to support that.” Wu Sa told TechRadar

Wu Sa continued saying that currently ZTE focuses on the Android platform because the market need is good, but they have been closely monitoring Windows Phone 7. At the moment ZTE does not see that same demand with the Windows Phone 7 platform. ZTE is currently the world’s 5th largest handset manufacturer seeing tremendous revenue within the past few years. It would be of great benefit to have ZTE join the ranks of other great manufacturers for Windows Phone 7.
How soon do you think ZTE will finally decide to produce for the WP7 platform? Perhaps when Nokia and other manufacturers release more devices (hopefully) later this year, then ZTE will finally take the bite.

WP7 marketplace Reaches 11k Apps

Windows Phone 7's Marketplace just reached 11000 Applications, If you Know or heard about it, Their marketplace reached 10k Total No. of apps Just last week or 8 days ago,That means That it got 1k Apps in 1 week time,Which is great. And its Getting faster and faster Week by week. It will soon surpass Blackberry world.

First Nokia WP7 A Q4 2011 event?

“Nokia’s chairman has said Windows-based Nokia phones will be on sale from 2012, though Elop has said he aims to produce a Windows phone by the end of this year.”
According to Nokia's chairman, First Nokia Windows phone 7 Smartphone is going to be a 2012 event, which in my opinion Is not bad, I just hope that it is anyway Near that  Leaked Nokia WP7 Device, I fell completely in Love with that design, I just hope Nokia announce its first windows phone device by Q4 of 2011, They should not do it later then 2011 Q4, And if Nokia Produces a beautiful Device, with N8 level camera, And other things which nokia is best at, I think i will Buy one, as the more i see windows Phone i feel that its not bad, Its just missing some features, which all will be There by mango Update, and nokia device is also going to be near The mango Update, So lets hope for the best!

Disqus is On Thetechyblog now!

Nokia PR 2.0 Web Browser.

The Much awaited Nokia Symbian PR2.0 Seems That is almost done and can be out any minute now, and is available though Navifirm, And someone installed it on their respective C7 though Navifirm, Here is a 14 minute long video of PR 2.0 Video focusing just on the Web browser, which is the most wanted update by symbian users right now as Let me say, the current Nokia browser Flat Out sucks!

The video starts You can see that the Interface of the web browser has changed now you can see the link of the website you are On, you can see In the video that there are very much improvements in how fast the page renders, Their are significant amount of improvement in page rendering speeds, and The scrolling has also been improved Significantly. But even after this much improvements You can see in the video That the scrolling is still choppy,And the web browsing experience in not pleasing at all, and not At par with any OS.But this is not the final build of PR 2.0, At-least i hope that this is not the final web browser, Because I really need a better browser on my Nokia N8.

Ipad 2 vs Motorola Xoom

It is the Apple vs Oranges, Windows vs mac, Xbox vs PlayStation of The Tablet world, The 2 best tablets That IOS has to offer, head to head.

Stephen Elop Talks about Nokia-MS deal and many interesting stuff!

This is a video of a very interesting Interview Of Stephen Elop The CEO of Nokia, and as people as the Trojan horse sent from Microsoft to Nokia! In a 23 minute Long, But Very very interesting Interview.I dont have much to say about it, Just check it out!I haven't watched the whole interview yet, i fast forwarded here and there, when i will watch the whole interview I will post an article about it maybe, But lets see!

Why I'm Close to Giving Up on Windows Phone 7, as a User and a Developer

NOTE: This article is not written by me, i just found it Looking around, originally written by danny tuppeny http://blog.dantup.com/ And the article is long, But surely worth a Read!
Note: This is a pretty long post, but it's the only way to get across why I'm suddenly so disappointed in Windows Phone 7 - a platform I've been so excited about for so long. I really hope someone on the WP7 team takes the time to read it to the end. I'm probably not unique in having these feelings.
It's a harsh title, so first, a little background...
I've been waiting for Windows Phone 7 for around 10 years. Really! See what I did there? :)
In 2001 I finished my A-Levels and got a job as a web programmer. I lived with my parents and had plenty of cash to wastespend. One of the first gadgets I bought was a Compaq iPaq. I convinced myself that it was really useful, and that it saved me lots of time, but in reality, it was horrid. The Windows operating system was slow and sluggish and the usability was pretty awful. I had to buy a sleeve that made the device twice as thick and a huge WiFi card just to allow it to connect to anything. It was crap, but I loved it anyway.
When Microsoft released the .NET Compact Framework, I was so excited. I could now write my own applications to run on this device that would fit in my pocket. Awesome! Except, it wasn't. The device was still a pain in the ass to use and the performance still sucked. The ideas were great. The execution was terrible.
It wasn't long before I picked up an XDA, so I no longer had to carry both a mobile phone and a PDA. Good times! Or not. The mobile version of Windows was still pretty bad.
Over the coming years, I bought practically every Windows mobile device I could afford. I lived in hope that this new device would be nice and snappy, and Microsoft will have improved the OS and added functionality. It never happened, but it didn't stop me throwing money at them each time, in hope.
Fast forward a few more years, and I'd been playing with Managed DirectX. The idea of programming games in C# was pretty exciting. Ultimately this became XNA, and the Zune wasn't far behind. I really wanted a Zune, but the UK launch was delayed and delayed, and ultimately never happened.
When Apple released the iPhone, I started to wonder if the reason we hadn't seen a Zune in the UK was that Microsoft were holding back to release a ZunePhone. Despite waiting and waiting, this didn't happen.
During this time (since 2001), my career was built on building web applications in Microsoft technologies. My life is well and truly in the Microsoft camp. I love .NET, I love C# and I love Visual Studio. It made me die a little inside every time I had to do some work in PHP or fire up Eclipse...
However... In 2008, I ditched my Windows-based XDA and bought an iPhone. Sorry Microsoft, I'd been waiting for 7 years, and you still hadn't delivered.
I loved my iPhone. It made me sad that there was no competition from Microsoft. I even started working on iPhone apps. I really hate Mac OSX, Objective-C, and XCode. But I had to go with the market.
Imagine how excited I was when Microsoft announced Windows Phone 7! I can ditch this Apple nonsense and develop applications in C#, Visual Studio, XNA, Silverlight! Finally, Microsoft are putting their weight into a promising mobile platform. Despite previous failures, this time, I have hope that they can really do it.
Through my company, I was able to get access to a developer WP7 device from Microsoft. The hardware was a little shoddy, but the OS was very promising. Everything was looking good!
I'd convinced my company we should be working on a Windows Phone 7 version of our iPhone apps, and I resisted picking up an iPhone4 because Windows Phone 7 was the way forward. I kept my eyes open for a UK launch date in the hope it wouldn't overlap with my holiday in Orlando, so I could get one right away. As luck would have it, the launch was announced as a few weeks before my holiday!
This is where it started to go wrong...
As we got closer to launch, I noticed there seemed to be a huge lack of advertising. I started to doubt whether the launch would be met at all. I started calling around local stores, and nobody knew anything about the launch. WTF? How can they not know about Microsoft's competitor to the iPhone?! I popped into a Carphone Warehouse over the road from the office where I work on launch day. The staff knew nothing about WP7. I called all the local Orange stores, hoping for a HTC Mozart. Nobody knew when, or if, they would be getting any Windows Phone 7 devices. Wow.
I wasn't giving up that easily, so I spent the next few weeks (getting close to my Orlando holiday) trying to track down a device. Eventually, I found that a local O2 store had HTC HD7s in stock. I rushed down there, and managed to convince them to sell me one as Pay-As-You-Go (since I'm on, and very happy with, giffgaff). I was made up! Windows Phone 7 was awesome. Just being able to pin a tile for my wife and see calendar appointments on the homescreen was enough for me to purchase it over an iPhone!
Then I went on holiday to Orlando. I took loads of geo-tagged pics, and was genuinely really impressed with the phone. Congratulations Microsoft. You've finally done it. But still, where is all the fanfare? You need to show people how awesome this phone is - then you'll sell bucket-loads!
As time went on, cracks started to show. There were bugs. Many bugs. At one point, the SMS message store for my wife got corrupt, which meant I couldn't send, or read, text messages to/from her. I got in touch with the UK WP7 developer advocate that had sorted out the developer phone for my company, and explained the issue. After many emails going back and forth I was told that there may be logs on my phone that would help Microsoft track down this issue but security procedures do not allow them to share a tool to get the logs off my device. I was instead, told to try a factory reset. This fixed the issue, but Microsoft were no closer to finding/fixing the bug.
Another pretty annoying bug was that the bluetooth randomly disconnects from my car. Frequently. About every 2-3 minutes. If I'm on a call when this happens, the call stays open, but just normally via the handset in my pocket. As you can imagine - I can't hear the person at the other end, and they can't hear me. 10-20 seconds later, it reconnects, and the call continues.
Because I preferred coding in VS/C# so much, I started work on a Windows Phone 7 game in my spare time. I even got a few colleagues to join in by creating their own games, as part of an XNA coding competition. Most of these guys had never even coded C#, never mind written a game!
My game is called Badger Quest, and currently has a few playable levels. There are no videos online yet, but you can see how it looks from the background on the Twitter page. It'll be pretty similar to Mario, though played by tapping buttons on the screen to use your abilities (jump, turn, throw, slash, etc.) which are limited in number.
As time went by, I started to have doubts. WP7 handsets weren't selling very well. The marketplace was buggy (eg. returns to the "Xbox LIVE" filter when you press "Back" from looking at an "indie" game). I started to wonder how seriously Microsoft were taking their platform. The OS was great, but how they responded to initial feedback and bug reports (and how quickly) would ultimately decide the fate of the platform.
With a huge outcry over the lack of Copy & Paste, Microsoft announced there would be an update in January that would add this. Excellent - if we don't get the bugfixes before then, they'll be in that update. All will be good.
Sadly, it wasn't good. The update was delayed. And delayed. There was zero transparency from Microsoft. Despite the rest of the company making huge strides in this area over the previous few years, Windows Phone 7 is a quiet, closed box. Nobody knew what was happening with the update, and more importantly, the bug fixes.
Eventually, an update started to roll out. Yay! Only, we quite quickly discovered it wasn't NoDo. It was a pre-update update. An update that updates the update system. Why couldn't this just be bundled with NoDo?! More annoying was that Microsoft didn't announce this update until after they started pushing it. They told us nothing about what it did.
Then it got worse. One of my colleagues was prompted to install his update. He connected his phone as described, and the update started. Then it failed. It gave an error saying his phone was not updated, and could not be rolled back. He tried all sorts of resets, with no luck. His phone was bricked. As I'd been one of the people that had suggested he get a WP7, I felt pretty bad. He spent the next day being bounced between Microsoft, Virgin and Samsung, trying to get his phone working. During this time, he could not use his phone in any way. The staff at Virgin and Samsung knew very little about WP7 and more specifically, this update. Eventually, Virgin agreed to send him a new handset.
Fast forward a few more days, and we're all still waiting for NoDo, and our bugfixes. It's been over four months and we've still had zero bugfixes. Rumours start spreading across the web that NoDo has been delayed. Again, it takes a week before Microsoft finally come out and tell us what's going on.
Hopefully if you've read this far, you now know why I'm starting to have serious doubts about Windows Phone 7. If Microsoft can't turn around bugfixes in a timely fashion, what's going to happen when people start finding exploits (and they will find exploits)?
Of course, if I'm not confident in the platform as a user, I can't be as a developer. I've put my Windows Phone 7 development on hold. I can't commit to spending more time on a platform that Microsoft seems to be sending the way of previous versions. I still believe the OS is excellent, but sadly, that's only half the battle.
I'm not giving up, just yet. I truly believe Windows Phone 7 can be something brilliant, but there are definitely issues that need addressing. To show how seriously I believe Microsoft could make this work, I've applied to go and work for the Windows Phone team via the Microsoft Careerswebsite. If Microsoft want to make Windows Phone 7 better, here's an offer for another set of hands to test the platform. I'm serious - I'd relocate from the UK to the US to help work on making Windows Phone 7 better, because I think it could have a strong future.

Reasons to prefer Android over IOS

I had recently posted an article "10 reasons to prefer IOS over android", And i promised there that i will also post 10 reasons to prefer android over IOS, so here they are!

1. Easily Available ; Android is everywhere, almost every phone manufacturer produces an android Smartphone, from 1000$ to 100$, android is everywhere at every price point,Which is not the case with the Apple Iphone, for example : In india where i live, Android phones are instantly or very soon available here after their launch worldwide, which is not the case with iPhone as iPhone releases Iphone in india almost 8-9 months after it has released it worldwide.

2. Price ; As i said in the previous Point that Android is available at many price points, from 1000$ to 100$, and getting cheaper  by everyday that passes, whereas Iphones are Usually 800$ to even 1000$ at some places.

3. Homescreen Widgets ; Homescreen widgets are very useful,  As you can quickly see Information you need without the need to open the application, As its in right in front of you for Example, Some social application widgets show some of top tweets on homescreen itself whereas on the iphone you would have to open the Application to get to know it.

4. Notification system : The notification system in android is Great, as it comes On and doesn't Stop what You are doing on you phone whereas In IOS, it stops what you are doing. Which is A Problem. You can also easily access the notification's by just dragging down the notification bar on the top which is really Neat.

5. No need for software application on the computer iPhone requires you to install iTunes on your computer and sync with it in order to do just about anything on the iPhone, such as transferring applications, music, videos or contacts. Furthermore, you can sync it with only a limited number of computers. Android phones do not need any such application - simply plug the phone into any computer and exercise complete control over your phone.

Data transfer is as easy as drag and drop. On a side note, I deem the SD card expandable memory option in the Android phone to be better than having no memory slot as in the iPhone, because you can carry additional memory cards with you and use when required without worrying about running out of memory.

6. Flash support in web browser ; Statistics tell us that almost 40-50 percent of websites we surf have Flash, which is supported by almost every Android Mobile which is 2.2 or higher, and this is what lacks in Safari, safari no matter how good or smooth it is will offer you an incomplete experience of the web.

7.  Unlimited personalization ; Android phones can be personalized the way you want. Thus,
you can make the phone appear the way you want, and behave the way you wish.

Depending on what type of user you are, you can configure each desktop to serve your needs. If you are a business user, you may want a screen with contacts, emails, stocks and news updates via RSS, etc. A social network user may want to have a Facebook desktop, a Twitter desktop, and so on. You can even add a whole new desktop if you want and set default actions for different contacts. This is not possible on the iPhone.

Ipad 2 Blows Xoom and Ipad out of water!

Recently, some tests were done on ipad 2, Ipad and the Motorola Xoom, the test's were testing the GPU on all the 3 devices, and here are the results, what you find in these results is that Ipad 2 is much much faster then what the competition has to offer In Raw Power, which is quite impressive, We know that Ipad 2 Have 9 times better graphics than Ipad 1, and ipad 1 was not slow either, even then these results doesn't fail to impress me, Just surprises me, Because in almost every test the ipad is about 2 to 3 times better then Motorola Xoom, and in some tests its even 5-6 times better which is quite amazing, I am just waiting for the games which will utilize the Ipad 2 GPU to its limits, i think that would be Amazing.

Ipad 2 : Whats Better?

Ipad 2 was announced of 2th of  marth and now has been released in apple stores, and the Question everybody is asking is that Whats new in ipad 2 or whats better in Ipad 2? here is my Views on it.

Size :

Thickness:  The apple ipad 2 Is 33% thinner then Ipad 1, And its even thinner then the already thin Iphone 4, And it  Is 8.8mm and which is thinnest the tablet market has to offer right now, and really
easy to handle. This is definately an improvement!

Weight : The ipad 2 is Weighed at 601 grams, which is lighter then the original Ipad which was 680 grams, But its still now a drastic improvement, But atleast Its better.

Looks and style : The Ipad 2 design is same as The Ipad 1, barring some minor changes like 2 camera's etc, But it is now available In color white, Which many people like very much. So its better then previous generation, but not a Great Improvement.

Display :  it had been speculated months ago that the new iPad will sport a Retina Display, but that was not to happen. Both the iPads have the same 9.7-inch LED-backlit oleophobic IPS display, with a resolution of 1024x768, which means a ppi (pixels per inch) of 132. Obviously, there is no improvement in visibility in sunlight, as had been speculated. The aspect ratio is 4:3 and as before, you will see thick black borders at the top and bottom of the screen while watching widescreen videos. Incidentally, since the display remains the same, this also means that all the apps developed for the original iPad will run on the iPad 2 without any modification. So it is not an improvement.

Performance :

The ipad 2 Is definitely much more powerful then Ipad 1 The CPU is A5 Dual core processor Powered At 1 Ghz,Which features 2 Times better CPU and whopping 9 times better Graphics Which is really good for Applications and Particularly The games on the Ipad 2, And Maintaning The Great battery Life that Ipad provided, which was really great at 10 Hours in performance, Which is great as it is providing so much better Graphics and CPU.

Dual cameras : One of the most visible physical additions in the iPad 2 is the inclusion of two cameras - one at the front and the other at the rear. The front camera is a VGA resolution camera, meant to be used for FaceTime video calling applications. The camera on the rear is similar to that of the iPhone 4, with a 5x digital zoom, and capable of recording video at 720p HD resolution at 30fps. The still image megapixel specifications of this camera are not officially mentioned, but it has been found to be not more than 1 megapixel (similar to the rear camera on the iPod touch). This rear camera is just a bonus feature as we don't see you actually using the bulky iPad 2 to shoot videos or photos.

Xooms Not selling well :Who's Surprised?

Jefferies analyst Peter Misek says that :

Xoom sales have been underwhelming. While marketing has just started we believe MMI will likely have to cut production if it already has not done so. We believe the device has been a bit buggy and did not meet the magic price point of $500. We believe management knows this and is hurrying development and production of lower cost tablets. Importantly we believe management will likely have to make the painful decision to accept little to no margin initially in order to match iPad 2’s wholesale pricing.
I think thats its not that surprising as we all know it first of all Its more expensive Then its competitors, and Honeycomb which was the Main appeal of the device is Not yet ready and is buggy and confusing to start with, you cant pick it up and use it. And the New Ipad 2 Has  totally Crushed The chances of Xoom to win.You have to make Xoom cheaper. Thats it.

More mobile access from Android Then Blackberry

Globally, StatCounter recorded Android accounting to for 15.2 percent of worldwide accesses compared to 14.5 percent for BlackBerry. However Symbian still maintains a strong lead with 30.7 percent ahead of Apple's iOS with 24.6 percent.

StatCounter CEO, Aodhan Cullen, said: "The momentum is certainly with Android which has almost tripled its market share over the last 12 months from 5.4 percent to 15.2 percent. In the same period iOS fell from 33.9 percent to 24.6 percent.

StatCounter shows that the use of mobile to access the Internet compared to desktops has more than doubled worldwide from 1.72 percent a year ago to 4.45 percent today.

Well, what can i say everything to say is written, But i think I am surprised That IOS fell from Almost 34% to 24.6%, Thats all.

Developers take on Nokia-Microsoft partnership

After The nokia-Microsoft Partnership there was lots of talks that either this is the best decision for nokia and Microsoft or this is going to mark The doom for nokia.

At-last someone surveyed what Developers thought about this,And the People at Open-First Surveyed about this and here are the results :

  • “It is great that Symbian is going away. It is surprising that Meego is also going away in a way, but I do support this decision. The only thing about WP7: Nokia, please please please  talk to Microsoft about allowing to run apps written in C++. The current requirement to write apps in Csharp is a HUGE problem for us. Thank you.”“Months ago Nokia said Qt will be the focus, and we invested time and money accordingly. Why should we believe now?”
  • “Change in metadata requirements is very very annoying, especially if you have as many apps as we do.”
  • “Totally frustrated.”
  • “Excited about it!”
  • “From what’s been announced, it sounds like it’s too early to make any decisions but we’ll probably not put any additional resources into new development for Symbian for now.”
  • “No MultiTasking in WindowsMobile7”
  • “Android will be our main platform after Symbian is phased out. Windows Phone7 lacks consumer adoption, before that changes it is not a feasible choice.”
  • “The Microsoft Windows Phone platform is useless, since it doesn’t allow full native applications.”

The Response Is very Mixed Someone is very Happy someone is very frustrated about it, but lets see what happens when the time will come.

10 reasons i Prefer IOS over Android

What can i say, the title says it all.The review is telling the mindset of common people, i am talking about People who are not techy. The views down here is what i think common people like about IOS.

1.) software updates : While Google issues software updates to Android at a feverish pace, how many of them actually reach your phone? Great phones like Motorola Defy are still stuck with Android 2.1. The Nexus One, despite being a Google phone, was stuck with 2.2 until very recently Google suddenly realized they have one more phone apart from the Nexus S. Apple, on the other hand, has been regular with their firmware updates. Unless your phone is too old, it will get the new update, along with everyone. Google cannot even issue the update to everyone simultaneously and has to roll it part by part to users.  For example : 40% of Androids are still 2.1 , whereas the Latest Version is 2.3 which is about 1-2% of androids.

2.) Software optimized for hardware : One advantage of Apple making the hardware and software is that they can perfectly tune the software to the hardware. Except in rare cases, such as the iPhone 3G fiasco, where the device was just too old and slow to run a new firmware, the software experience on iPhone's has always been flawless.

Even in case of third party applications, the iOS developers have it a lot easier than Android developers. Unlike the latter, the former only have a handful of devices to consider while developing their applications, which means they are well optimized to the devices. In case of Android, applications, especially games, can deliver wildly different performances on different phones with varying hardware. You cannot blame the developers, there is only so much optimization they can do in case of Android by running their apps on a few devices and then just praying they work well on others as well.

3.) Easier to use : Android Fans must be furious By now But the truth is that right Now at the stage android is and IOS is, IOS is Easier to Use then what Android is right now i dont know about the future, But yeah Right now IOS is more stable, Fast and better and easier to use Then android, anyone can pick the iPhone and do what they want its easy for them, which is not the case with android, many don't even know about the full power of their mobile phones due to the features being not so easy to use.

4.)  App Store > Android Market : well i said it, Apple store offers 2x the variety and much better to use applications, almost every fortune 500 company has their IPhone app on the App store And Almost every app on app store is Great because of apple's strict Rules in accepting Apps, some of the Applications or games have malware's, virus's etc. and app store is easier to use then android market.

5.) Game Center : Game Center is the iOS equivalent to the Xbox Live. It lets you play online multiplayer games with friends and strangers, compare your scores and generally do all sorts of awesome fun that makes iOS the best mobile gaming platform. Android doesn t have anything comparable to Game Center so far.

6.) Built-in Video Calling : Almost every apple product now-a-days Is connected to each other, From ipods to macs to Iphones all can do video calling between each other free of cost, and very easy to use. whereas You cannot Do video calling from an android mobile out of the box, most of them does not feature a front-facing-camera.

7.) Higher Flaunt Value : Geeks would go on rambling about how superior their Android phones are compared to iPhone. But for a layman, all he will know for a fact is that iOS devices such as the iPhone are a lot cooler. They don't understand the meaning of rooting or NFC. All they understand is that their favorite celebrities are using an iPhone; ergo it is a cool device to have.  Apple products have always had the kind of flaunt value that most other manufacturers can only dream of having, regardless of the software they are running. This for most people, especially those with plenty of money to spare, is good enough excuse to spend on them.

8.) Better battery life : Battery life has been a major bugbear with Android phones. All that syncing with Google's servers does not really go down well with the battery, which dies faster than in the time you can spell Gingerbread . While iPhones aren't all that great by themselves, they seem to fare much better than most Android phones out there.

9.) The preferred platform of Devs : In the desktop computer world, Windows gets higher preference, simply because it has a wider installed base. Similarly, in the smartphone world, iOS devices get all the attention from the developers. At least right now Android hasn't reached that level where it would be any developer's first choice, unless he wants to do something that won't be allowed by Apple on their App Store.

All those great apps and games you see arrive first on iOS and are then merely ported over to Android, sometimes not at all. You have websites and services optimized for the iOS browser, not for Android. Simply put, if you are on iOS, you will get everything before anyone else and there will be a whole bunch of people out there making sure that you have the best possible mobile experience. Not so much on Android.

10.) Better Build Quality : all the iPhone till now have Had Great build Quality and a Great design, whatever You say About Iphone 4 but the thing is that The phone looks like a million bucks and performs like one to. whereas most of the Android mobiles are plastic..

The title said 10, but i could only think of 9 :D, Soon i will do 10 reasons Android Is better then IOS. Because i love Both of them equally.

Nokia X1-00 : Budget phone

In Nokia's Words: Its Orange and Its Loud!

yes you guessed it right It is A Music lovers Budget phone, Which features 3.5mm jack  and very very loud speakers for music lovers the speakers have been set at a particular frequency so that the sound is clear at loud volumes, The mobile is available in 2 colors , I am not sure about this but the 2 colors are Blue and Orange.

Why is this important in the markets the Nokia X1-00 is designed for? Two reasons in particular: first, because ambient noise levels can high in many places in the world, so you might need everything to be a bit louder to cut through. Second, because mobile music is much more likely to be a shared experience – you might be using this device as your main music player at home, for example.
For this reason, the Nokia X1-00 comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, so you can plug it into speakers (or headphones, of course). Music-orientated hardware features are completed with three dedicated player keys and a nifty single-key playlist creator. There’s also support for MicroSD memory cards for extra music storage up to 16GB. There’s also an integrated FM radio for access to news and entertainment.
Also making a welcome reappearance is the dedicated torch on the device. This is fairly rare in devices intended for Western cities, where there’s always some ambient light, but pretty important if you live in a place where the power supply is unreliable or where there is no electricity at all. For similar reasons, the standby battery life is rated at a whopping 61 days max.
Another unusual feature is provision for up to five phone books. Why would anyone want that? Because this is a phone that might be shared between an entire family or even neighbours. Less than €35 isn’t very expensive for people in Western markets, but if you can divide that five ways, then it becomes accessible to people for whom that’s nearly a month’s salary.
Otherwise, the specification sheet doesn’t hold a lot of surprises: this is super-inexpensive and needs to be pretty simple. It uses the Series 30 operating system, so it’s got the basics people need, with a souped-up music player app, calendar, clock and calculator, pre-loaded games and so forth, but no, it’s not designed to be a smartphone competitor. It measures 112.2 x 47.3 x 16mm and weighs 91g.

The Phone is going to cost about 35€, which is really great for people looking for a Budget Phone, it will be available in selected markets beginning in April, I am sure  It will be available in India as this phone seems to be made for India as People over here Love loud music, and most of the phones bought are budget, and Nokia's losing its market share more rapidly then anywhere else in India.
