Ipad 2 was announced of 2th of marth and now has been released in apple stores, and the Question everybody is asking is that Whats new in ipad 2 or whats better in Ipad 2? here is my Views on it.
Size :
Thickness: The apple ipad 2 Is 33% thinner then Ipad 1, And its even thinner then the already thin Iphone 4, And it Is 8.8mm and which is thinnest the tablet market has to offer right now, and really
easy to handle.This is definately an improvement!
Weight : The ipad 2 is Weighed at 601 grams, which is lighter then the original Ipad which was 680 grams, But its still now a drastic improvement, But atleast Its better.
Looks and style : The Ipad 2 design is same as The Ipad 1, barring some minor changes like 2 camera's etc, But it is now available In color white, Which many people like very much. So its better then previous generation, but not a Great Improvement.
Display : it had been speculated months ago that the new iPad will sport a Retina Display, but that was not to happen. Both the iPads have the same 9.7-inch LED-backlit oleophobic IPS display, with a resolution of 1024x768, which means a ppi (pixels per inch) of 132. Obviously, there is no improvement in visibility in sunlight, as had been speculated. The aspect ratio is 4:3 and as before, you will see thick black borders at the top and bottom of the screen while watching widescreen videos. Incidentally, since the display remains the same, this also means that all the apps developed for the original iPad will run on the iPad 2 without any modification.So it is not an improvement.
Performance :
The ipad 2 Is definitely much more powerful then Ipad 1 The CPU is A5 Dual core processor Powered At 1 Ghz,Which features 2 Times better CPU and whopping 9 times better Graphics Which is really good for Applications and Particularly The games on the Ipad 2, And Maintaning The Great battery Life that Ipad provided, which was really great at 10 Hours in performance, Which is great as it is providing so much better Graphics and CPU.
Dual cameras : One of the most visible physical additions in the iPad 2 is the inclusion of two cameras - one at the front and the other at the rear. The front camera is a VGA resolution camera, meant to be used for FaceTime video calling applications. The camera on the rear is similar to that of the iPhone 4, with a 5x digital zoom, and capable of recording video at 720p HD resolution at 30fps. The still image megapixel specifications of this camera are not officially mentioned, but it has been found to be not more than 1 megapixel (similar to the rear camera on the iPod touch). This rear camera is just a bonus feature as we don't see you actually using the bulky iPad 2 to shoot videos or photos.
